Bit of a laugh really, messing about doing freestyle on formula kit ... even trying gecko flakas of sorts. mainly sail spinny stuff and excuses to take a dip to cool off.
Spoke to local old fella enjoying some kayak wave riding in the ripples near the beach and he said the wind would blow within the hour, and sure as eggs, if swung 180 degrees to bolt offshore and I was planing (around the holes). Enough even to get the race crew and everyone else all excited and look to set a course and get some formula racing in ..... didn't work, and if they'd have asked I'd have mentioned the leerdammer issues (ie wind was full of holes) and saved all the trouble ... reckon i scored the best of it that day tho !
